Mudimedia Yazılım ("we", "us") makes Chipjack: Hack the Machines ("Chipjack", "the app") for iOS and Android. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and how you can control it. It applies to the app and to this website (playchipjack.com).

The short version

Chipjack does not have accounts, does not collect your name, email or contact details, and does not know who you are. Your save file lives only on your device. The data the app does send off-device is either fully anonymous (analytics), required to run ads and process purchases through Apple/Google's own systems, or a score you choose to submit to a leaderboard.

Data we collect

CategoryWhatWhy
Anonymous analytics A random install ID (not tied to your name or account), device model, OS version, app version, and in-game events (e.g. a heist started, a room was cleared, a chip was hacked). No names, no emails, no advertising ID, no Game Center/Play Games ID. IP-based location enrichment is switched off in our analytics project (PostHog). To understand which rooms are too hard, which screens people drop off on, and whether the game is fun. You can turn this off any time in Settings → "Share anonymous analytics".
Advertising identifiers On iOS, only if you tap "Allow" on the App Tracking Transparency prompt: your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), shared with Google AdMob. On Android, your advertising ID (GAID), used unless you've limited ad tracking in your device settings. A consent form (Google's UMP) is shown first to users in the EEA/UK/Switzerland. To show optional rewarded video ads (double loot, continue a run, a free chip-shop reroll). Ads are never forced — you choose to watch one for a reward. We never sell this data; it is used by Google/AdMob to select and measure ads.
Purchases Your purchase and subscription status (e.g. "Pro is active"), handled by RevenueCat on top of Apple's and Google's own purchase systems. We never see your payment card details — Apple and Google process the payment itself. To unlock what you paid for (Chipjack Pro, Shard packs, the starter pack) and to let you restore purchases on a new device.
Leaderboard scores If you sign in to Game Center (iOS) or Play Games (Android) — which is optional — your score, an alias you chose in that platform's account, and your friends list (only if you grant friend-list access) are handled entirely by Apple/Google's leaderboard services, not by us. We do not run our own leaderboard server or store your Game Center/Play Games identity. To show Vault, weekly and daily rankings and let you compare with friends.
Your save data Your progress, Vault total, unlocked chips, settings and purchases-in-progress are stored locally on your device only. Nothing about your save is uploaded to a server we control (Chipjack has no backend). To run the game. Uninstalling the app or deleting it in Settings removes this data. It does not sync between devices.

Third parties

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not run our own advertising network or data broker relationships beyond the above.

Your choices

Children

Chipjack is rated for general audiences (target age rating 9+/12+ per store rating systems) and is not directed at children under 13 (16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app has no accounts and no way to enter personal information, none is collected regardless of age.

Retention

Anonymous analytics events are retained by PostHog for as long as needed to analyse product trends and are not linked back to an individual. Your local save data is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. We do not hold a server-side copy of your save.

Changes to this policy

If we change what Chipjack collects, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
